Shoot Info

  • 2 hour filming session + ~30 minutes of professional audio recording (exhaust, intake, blower, turbo, interior sound, gear shifts, etc.)

  • Panning shots (driving past the camera)

  • Rollers (driving sequences shot from a lead camera car; I'll direct you!)

  • B-roll (capturing the scene/environment)

The Process

PRE-PRODUCTION

Before your shoot...

We'll meet over a quick Zoom or phone call to discuss any wants/needs, talk about music selection/vibes, finalize a shoot date, and talk about possible locations.

I'll then spend time planning a shot list, transitions, and if necessary, scope out locations if we haven't finalized that. I'll keep you updated throughout the pre-production process.

PRODUCTION

It's filming day!

I'm more than just your videographer – consider me your partner in content creation mastery! Together, we'll put the spotlight on what sets your vehicle apart and I guarantee we'll immortalize its essence in stunning, high-resolution glory!

POST-PRODUCTION

Time to put everything together and make some magic.

Throughout the editing process, I will keep you in the loop and send you little previews and snippets.

Once I've finished the first cut of your video(s), I'll send them over to you for review and approval. If you like what you see and are happy with the results, then I'll move forward with finishing touches before sharing the final video. Otherwise, I can do up to 2 revisions to make sure the final video is to your liking.

NOTE: Changing the music completely changes the edit, which is why we finalize it during pre-production. If you decide you want to change the music during post-production, it will incur an additional charge at the rate of $50/hour, which will be reflected in the final invoice.

IMPORTANT INFO YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF BEFORE YOUR SHOOT:

  • Automotive shoots must be booked at least 7 days in advance and at least 14 days in advance for events. Any shoots scheduled later are subject to additional booking fees.

  • All shoots require a 50% deposit to book and secure your shoot date.

  • Shoots located more than 25 miles from my location in Oakley, CA are subject to travel fees to and from the shoot location + and travel incurred during the shoot (multiple locations) + the current standard mileage reimbursement rate of $0.67/mile (see https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-issues-standard-mileage-rates-for-2024-mileage-rate-increases-to-67-cents-a-mile-up-1-point-5-cents-from-2023).

  • Rollers are subject to additional travel fees, charged at the current standard mileage reimbursement rate of $0.67/mile. 100% of the travel fees specifically for rollers are provided to my camera car driver.

  • Come with a clean vehicle and if possible, bring cleaning supplies for any last minute spot-detailing. 

  • Arrive early or on time to get the most out of your shoot!
